ASP SHOWROOM is a modern space located in one of the kordegards of the Czapski Palace at 5 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street (on the site of the former Fibak Gallery). The space of over a hundred metres has been designed to host various cultural events for the entire Warsaw ASP community.
The ASP SHOWROOM provides the opportunity for book presentations, meetings with artists, lectures, thematic meetings, the deliberations of various committees, workshops or revisions of student work. It is also an ideal space for commercial events such as business meetings or small conferences.
The venue also serves as a bookshop, with book items currently distributed via the university’s online shop, so you can get to know the book even better before you buy it. There are also plans to expand the sales offer with artistic works by students and teachers of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.
Narbutas
Such an unusual place was created together with the Lithuanian company Narbutas – a world-renowned manufacturer of office furniture, which furnished the premises free of charge with the necessary bookcases and shelves, as well as multifunctional mobile tables and chairs.
There are also spaces for relaxation in the form of armchairs, sofas and compact coffee tables. The entire space can be changed and transformed at will to suit current needs. The décor is complemented by modern acoustic solutions: free-standing columns and ceiling decorations that enhance the comfort of the spaces used.
Idea
The idea behind ASP SHOWROOM was to create a place that brings together all generations of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw – from students and graduates, through teachers currently working at the Academy, to retired masters of our academy – which is a showcase for the academy and serves to promote its artistic community.
