On September 3–5, 2025, at the invitation of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the meeting of the Board of the Cumulus Association was held at the Czapski Palace. The Association brings together 395 art and design universities from 71 countries worldwide.
Cumulus Board visits the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
The two-day Board meeting was preceded by presentations from selected faculties of the Academy – Interior Architecture, Graphic Arts, Media Arts, and Design – which allowed the guests to become acquainted with the university’s educational and artistic activities.
The participants also had the opportunity to visit exhibitions presented in the Academy’s spaces: the 29th International Poster Biennale with its accompanying shows, the exhibition Art for Democracy III at the Faculty of Design Gallery on Myśliwiecka Street, and the exhibition of the 1st International Ceramics Triennial on Kościuszkowskie Embankment.

The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw has been a member of the Cumulus Association since 2003.
This has made it possible to establish numerous connections with foreign universities as well as to carry out international educational and artistic projects.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation, and develop the organization’s strategy for the coming years.
