Media art

This field of study is offered at the Faculty of Media Art – full-time and part-time studies of the first and second degree

The studies on this faculty are interdisciplinary and assume an openness to combining and interpenetrating various media. They offer the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in two specialisations – multimedia (combined media) and intermedia (various, interpenetrating media). Students study in specialised studios dedicated to classical media (painting, drawing, sculpture) and spatial activities, performance art, photography, video and digital art. In addition to specialised computer rooms, the department also has a photographic studio, a greenbox, a cinema room, well equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation allowing students to acquire skills in, among other things, digital and analogue photography, video, 2D and 3D animation, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AD), image and sound recording, processing and transmission, computer software operation and application.
