The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw took part in the 45th edition of the Young Designers' Exhibition (YODEX), held from 22 to 25 May 2026 at Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan. YODEX is the largest student-oriented design exhibition in Asia, attracting more than 80,000 visitors from Taiwan and abroad each year and showcasing the work of students from design schools around the world.
Fluidity of Boundaries
This year’s edition was held under the theme „Fluidity of Boundaries,” inviting reflection on the relationships between the physical and digital worlds, humans and non-humans, urban environments and nature, tradition and the future, as well as the individual and society.
At the invitation of the organizers, the Academy presented eight student projects in the international exhibition section, selected by its respective faculties. The works were displayed in a variety of formats, both as part of the exhibition booth’s physical installation and in a digital presentation shown on screens within the stand.

Participation in YODEX provides the Academy with an important opportunity to promote its students’ creative work on the international stage, exchange knowledge and experience with leading art and design institutions, and strengthen the position of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw within the global network of design schools.
