A graduate of the secondary school of fine arts and the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology (1979); for his thesis prepared under the supervision of Prof. Witold Benedek – design of Students’ Skansen Village in Łopienka – he and his team received the Special Award of the Minister of Culture and Art.
In 1988-1991, lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology; since 1998 he has been employed at the Faculty of Interior Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Deputy Rector for Investments in the 2012-2016 and 2016-2020 terms of office. Member of the Programme Council of the Institute for Public Space Research and of the Academic Council of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Working as a designer in the Monument Conservation Studio in Warsaw he was able to obtain building and conservation qualifications. In 1984, together with Piotr Jankowski, he created one of
the first private architecture studios in Poland: Bogusławski & Jankowski Architecture Studio Ltd.; since 1997, Bogusławski and Partners Architecture Studio Ltd. General designer or co-author of 200 designs, incl. residential complexes, public buildings and private houses, many with individually designed interiors. He took part in 17 exhibitions. Winner (with his studio team) of the First Prize at the Architecture Biennale in Krakow. Vice-President of the Association of Polish Architects, 1983-1985. In 1992, he received the Honorary Badge of the Association of Polish Architects. Member of the diploma committee at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure dʻArchitectures de Paris la Villette U6 and the Esam Design Ecole Supérieure des Artes Modernes in Paris. Member of the Programme Council of the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Design and the Council of the National Museum in Warsaw.
